"Backorder arrived sooner than expected"
They had a lot in stock, and even the fabric I backordered ended up shipping quicker than I thought it would. The backorder delay felt preventable, but overall I’m happy with how it turned out.
"The tutorials still help, but I’m a little less trusting now"
I’ve learned a lot from their quilting tutorials. Jenny explains things in a way that feels down-to-earth, and even patterns that look intimidating at first start to feel doable once she walks through them.
I do like being able to pause the videos and sew at my own pace, and the little tips about cutting, pressing, and matching seams have saved me from plenty of mistakes. That said, I’ve had a couple moments where a product or project didn’t feel quite as clear as it looked in the video, so my trust has dipped a bit.
I’ve still bought a few things after watching, and the free videos are genuinely useful. I just find myself double-checking details more now instead of assuming everything will be as easy or straightforward as it seems on screen.

"I had a feeling this would be…"
I had a feeling this would be a smooth shopping experience, it pretty much confirmed what I already thought. I found the fabric I needed really fast, checkout was simple, and there wasn’t any unnecessary hassle. Nice and easy.

"Color was way off"
The fabric showed up fast, so I’ll give them that, but the color was totally not what it looked like online. I needed a soft blue for a quilt, and this thing came in looking more gray than blue. Super annoying, honestly. Trying to match quilt colors is already a pain, and this just made it extra dumb. Not sure I’d risk ordering colors from them again.

"Order updates were really frustrating"
I had to keep checking on the order myself because the status just stayed unclear for days. The emails didn’t really explain what was going on either, which made the whole thing annoying. If this is how updates are going to be handled, I’d probably think twice before ordering again.

"I’ve come to really like Missouri Star..."
I’ve come to really like Missouri Star Quilt Co because it doesn’t feel like they’re only trying to sell fabric. The tutorials, the comments, and the way people interact make it feel like you’re sewing with a little group of friends, even if you’re just sitting at home in comfy socks with a half-finished project and probably too much coffee nearby. I get distracted easily too, like I’ll go in looking for one thing and somehow end up watching a video about a pattern I wasn’t even planning to make.
I’ve asked a couple questions in the community and people were kind and quick to help, which I really appreciate. It’s just nice seeing real quilters share tips, encourage each other, and make the whole thing feel welcoming. Kind of reminds me of chatting with neighbors, except instead of talking about the weather or whose dog got loose again, everyone’s excited about fabric and seams. It definitely makes me want to keep coming back

"Honestly, I Was Impressed"
My order showed up and my first reaction was, oh wow, this is actually packed really nicely. Everything was clean, nothing was bent or torn, and the fabric was protected inside. Super happy with how it arrived.

"I’ve bought a few patterns from Missouri Quilt..."
I’ve bought a few patterns from Missouri Quilt Co, the designs are really cute. That’s what keeps pulling me back. But a few of the instructions felt kind of rushed, like they were put together without anyone stopping to think how a regular person would actually follow them.
There were a couple steps where I had to read the same section over and over and still wasn’t totally sure what they meant. More pictures, clearer notes, or even just a little extra explanation would’ve helped a lot. It also felt a bit careless overall, like the details weren’t handled with much patience.
I did finish the project, and it turned out fine in the end, but it definitely took longer than I expected. I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience, just a little frustrating if you’re not already super confident with quilting

"I’ve ordered from Missouri Quilt Co a few..."
I’ve ordered from Missouri Quilt Co a few times now, the fabric has been consistently great. The colors have looked really close to the photos online (which is always a relief), and the cotton feels soft without being flimsy or cheap.
I’ve already washed a couple of the pieces, and they came out just fine. No strange fading, no rough texture afterward, and nothing that made me question the quality (always my little test before using fabric in a project).
Shipping was normal, nothing super fast or slow, but the fabric quality is what really stood out to me. It just makes my quilt projects feel a little nicer, and I’ll definitely be ordering again
"Pretty happy with my quilt box, honestly"
I’ve been getting the Missouri Quilt Co subscription box for a few months now, and I have to say, it’s been a nice little treat each time it shows up. The fabric is cute, and thankfully the projects aren’t ridiculously complicated, which I appreciate. Shipping has been fine for me too, so no complaints there. One box had colors I definitely would not have chosen myself, and I was a little annoyed at first, but annoyingly enough, I ended up really liking it. Overall, it’s been worth it for me

I’ve found their emails easy to keep up with. They don’t send a ton, and the messages are quick to skim, which I think most customers would appreciate. The sale reminders are useful too without feeling like spam. Overall, I’m happy with the balance

I thought the gift card would be simple to use, but honestly... it turned into a bit of a hassle. Like, it should’ve just worked, right? Instead I had to jump through extra steps and it made the whole experience more frustrating than expected.

"Good quilting stuff, just a little slow once"
I’ve ordered fabric and some precut packs from Missouri Quilt Co. a couple times now, and overall it’s been a good experience. The fabric looked close to the photos, and the colors were about what I had in mind. The precuts were mostly right too — maybe one little charm square was slightly off, but it wasn’t anything that messed up my project or anything like that. The edges were clean enough, so that was nice. Shipping did take a bit longer than I wanted one time, which is why I’d say 4 stars, but I’d still order from them again for quilting stuff.

"Great fabric choices, but the support was frustrating"
I was really excited to check out all the fabric options because I’ve been slowly redoing my living room and somehow got way too invested in picking the right texture. The selection is great, and I found a few I really liked. But customer service took way too long to get back to me, and when they finally did, the reply felt rushed and didn’t really answer what I was asking. I still like the product options, but the support side definitely needs some work.

I really liked the fabric options and was excited to get my order, so the shipping delay was a letdown. I expected it to move along a lot faster, but the tracking barely updated for days and I was just stuck wondering what was happening. It wasn’t a terrible experience overall, but the gap between what I expected and how long it actually took made it frustrating.
